I can't wait until THANKSGIVING 2010! The Sorensen/Johnson/Toomer families are going on vacay! We are headed to Vegas for Thanksgiving to be with my mom's brother the day before Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day. Mom Sorensen, Grams Toomer, Me, Jared, Michelle and our kids are packing up for an 11-Day Excursion. We are travelling by car so we can take our time and enjoy each other.
Sometime the day after Thanksgiving we are headed to Anaheim to join the millions who have enthusiastically joined the ranks of Mouse Lovers! We are going to Disneyland! We are taking Kirina, Kysa, Jordan, Hailey & Andy to the Wonderful World of Disney. There will be 5 adults to 5 children. PERFECT!!
After Disneyland we are going to experience Adventure City (only 1 mile from our hotel)...
It is like a miniture Disney that the tots will enjoy for CHEAP! Of course we will spend hours at the hotel pool weather permitting!
Who can go to the L.A. area and not observe ....
So we might venture downtown for a few hours.
Then we are going to....
The Aquarium of the Pacific.
Later that day we will board a Carnival Cruise ship headed to Catalina Island and Ensenada. We will be at sea for four days! Bon Voyage...
The kids are so excited! They will be in Camp Carnival and are looking forward to all the Cruise Line has to offer. We think it will be a great holiday for our kids and will turn an otherwise sad time of year for us into a Magical Experience.
The best part of all of this trip is that it is my BIRTHDAY! Love it. Can't wait.

Oh my. That sounds like so much fun! But please, please don't bring November too fast. I CANNOT handle another winter right now. :) I'm excited for you to go! Good for you guys.

I hope you have a really great trip...but I too don't want summer to come and go too quickly. ;) At the time of the two year anniversary of my brother's death my dad, siblings, hubby, daughter, and I went to Hawaii! It was just a needed mental break from the hard years that we had had. I think that this is a great idea and wonderful to experience a trip like that with the whole family. :) *Sending a hug.*
