The Birthday Bash

We started our festivities for K*'s belated birthday party on Friday the 6th with our Princess Party with 13 guests and the guests of honor, K* and Ariel. It was a blast! Here are some fun party photos!

On Saturday, we had a beautiful baptism for K*. It was a great day. I can't believe I am a mother of an 8 year old. It really does date me....but I would not trade any of my beautiful blessings to gain time! I am very grateful for my family and my wonderful life! THANKS Ariel and THANKS Dad for making this time special for my little girl! She will remember this in her heart as long as she lives!

Super Duper Fun Shopping!

We went grocery/essential shopping last night and I have been organizing my thoughts on the famous GrocerySmarts website and debating on getting a paper subscription, but I am sold after last nights STEAL! We started at Albertson's and I had my stack of MC (Manufacturer's Coupons) and the in-store ad and off we went. Shopping for our normal food and stuff. Just under an hour later we were checking out. Before coupons and in-store specials it was $157.61 and after the 2 minutes of scanning coupons it came to $87.37. A total savings of $68.24. It was FUN! Grocery shopping was actually fun. Even with a husband and 3 kidlets! Anyway....off my soap box I come. I am getting a subscription to my local paper for all 5 of us in the fam for $17.50 a month. That is 5 times the coupons and 5 times the savings!
