On the trail to Taggart Lake...so beautiful! They split the group into two groups to keep the activities smaller. Kirina was with 4 boys & 2 other girls. It was fun!
Horses and pack mules used to carry things to to Taggart Lake...the kids loved them!
Breathtaking views, and yes we got a little sprinkling but it was welcomed!
A neat rock!
Beautiful mountain blue bells!
An amazing trail!
Taggart Lake!
Kirina on the hike back to the truck, completely enjoying life.
Cooling off in the stream.
The students thought this looked like a cactus. It is a burnt tree.
Doing chores around camp!
Journaling and discussing journal entries in camp with Mr. Newell.
Hangin' out in camp!
Watching the bison in the morning outside of camp!
B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L
Wolf tracks along the Snake River.
Along with some bear tracks! (We did run into one bear just after our canoeing in String Lake...it did not bother us and we did not get in his way!)
Kirina's group on the lazy river float when we got out to look at the tracks and study our surroundings.
I even got to guide the raft! It was fun, but harder than it looks to stay out of the "strainers". Kirina learned as well. We have video, but it is not uploading well.
Kirina and her friend, Avery, right before the rapids float! They were nervous! I was nervous! but it was GREAT!
Kirina was on Mr. Newell's raft so I snapped a couple pictures of her. It was with the waterproof camera so they are a tad bit pixelated.
Love this girl!!
